This article plugs into an ordinary socket. Nothing needs to be wired, and nothing needs an electrician.

About this one
The dome is opaque and the opening faces the table, so the lamp lights the surface rather than the room. Put it where you want a pool of light and not a general glow.
Because the shade is closed, the pattern on the table has a hard edge about 70 cm across at normal table height. That edge is the point.
