Every lamp here states how much light it makes, what colour that light is, how wide it spreads, and whether you need an electrician to fit it. Where we hold no test report for a figure, the figure is left blank instead of invented.
The whole idea
A lamp is furniture until you switch it on. Then it is an instrument, and the only things that matter are how much light it puts out, what colour that light is, and where it lands. Those are numbers. So we publish them.
This entire site is dark for the same reason. Anything bright on this page is light we are actually claiming to make.

How much light comes out.
Watts measure what a lamp costs to run, not what it gives you. A 60 W incandescent bulb and a 6 W LED can both make 800 lm. Buy the lumens. Every fitting on this site states its figure and where the figure came from.

What colour that light is.
2700 K is the warm yellow of an evening room. 4000 K is neutral, closer to an overcast afternoon, and better over a chopping board than beside a bed. Mixing them in one room is what makes a space feel unresolved.

Whether colours look like themselves.
Two lamps at the same brightness and the same kelvin can make the same red cushion look completely different. Ra 95 shows colour close to daylight; Ra 80 flattens it. We only print a number where we hold a test report.

Left to right: 2200 K, 3000 K and 5000 K, in three otherwise identical bulbs. Nothing about the fitting changed. This is the difference people describe as “cosy” or “clinical” without knowing there is a number behind it.

Say no and every hard-wired fitting is removed from the result by name, not by ranking.
The result is an estimate based on a standard ceiling height and light-coloured walls. A room with dark walls needs more light than the number says. We would rather tell you that than let you find out after delivery.

Every electrical article carries an EU Declaration of Conformity reference and complies with the Low Voltage Directive, EMC and RoHS. If the declaration reference is missing, the article does not appear on this site at all — that rule is in the code, not in a policy.
Bathroom and outdoor articles are rated IP44 or better and say so. Anything without an IP rating on file carries a notice saying indoor dry locations only. That notice cannot be switched off.
13 of our 36 fittings connect to fixed wiring, which in Denmark is work for an authorised electrician. Each one says so on its card, on its page and in your basket. We do not install and we do not arrange electricians.
