1. Who you are buying from
This site is operated by Mazo ApS, a Danish ApS registered in Denmark. Lampkin is the trading name under which Mazo ApS sells the lighting described on this site.

2. What we sell
Original lighting for domestic use: table lamps, reading and task lights, wall lights, pendants, portable rechargeable lights, replacement light sources and a small number of accessories. Every article is our own design. We do not sell reproductions of anyone else’s work — see our statement on original design.
We sell to consumers. We are not set up for trade accounts, project supply or wholesale, and we do not carry out lighting installation of any kind.
3. Prices and currency
- All prices are shown and charged in Danish kroner (DKK). No other currency is offered.
- All prices include 25% Danish moms. The moms component is shown separately on every product page and again at checkout.
- Delivery is charged separately unless the order reaches the free-delivery threshold for the destination. Within Denmark that threshold is DKK 800. Every destination’s rate and threshold is published on the delivery page.
- Every price on this site is charged in Danish kroner and includes 25% Danish moms. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate and may add a fee we neither set nor receive.
- If a price is obviously wrong — an evident typing error rather than an unexpected bargain — we may cancel the order and refund it in full rather than dispatch. We will tell you why.
4. How an order is formed
- You put articles in the basket and open the checkout.
- You choose a destination country. The checkout checks it against two things before anything else: whether the mains supply there is compatible with our fittings, and whether the courier will carry any lithium cells in your basket. If either fails, the order cannot be submitted and the reason is shown on screen.
- You enter your details, read what you are agreeing to, and accept these terms and the privacy policy.
- You place the order and complete payment. At that point you receive an order reference, and an order confirmation by email.
- A binding contract exists when we dispatch the order, not when you press the button. Until dispatch we may decline the order — for example if an article turns out to be unavailable, or if the destination check should have blocked it. If we decline, nothing is charged, and anything already authorised is released.
5. Payment
Card payments are accepted in DKK. Your card is authorised when you place the order and charged when the order is dispatched. If an article turns out to be unavailable, the authorisation is released and no charge is taken. Everything on this site is a one-off purchase. There is no membership, no subscription, no stored balance, no loyalty points and no recurring charge of any kind. Placing an order does not create anything that renews.
How your card details are handled, which schemes are accepted, and what happens with strong customer authentication are all set out on the payment and security page.
6. Delivery
Rates, lead times, the destinations we serve and the destinations we cannot serve are published on the delivery page. Lead times are estimates for dispatch and transit; they are not guaranteed delivery dates.
Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed to you or to someone at your address. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, note it with the courier where you can, and tell us within a reasonable time so we can deal with it.
7. Installation and electrical safety
- Several articles connect to fixed wiring. In Denmark, work on fixed electrical installations must be carried out by an authorised electrician (autoriseret elinstallatør). Every affected article states this on its own page and again in the basket.
- We do not carry out installation, and we do not arrange or recommend electricians. Arranging installation is your responsibility.
- Every mains article is built for a 220–240 V / 50 Hz supply. Using one on a different supply is unsafe and outside anything we can be responsible for.
- Maximum wattage figures are safety limits. Exceeding them, or fitting a halogen or incandescent bulb in a fitting specified for LED, creates a fire risk and voids any claim arising from it.
- Full detail is on the electrical safety page, which is reachable from every product page on this site.
8. Your rights when something is wrong
Two separate rights apply, and they do not replace each other.
- Right of withdrawal — 14 days from delivery to change your mind, with no reason needed.
- Right to complain (reklamationsret) — two years under Købeloven to complain about a fault that was present when the article was delivered.
Neither of those is affected by anything on this page. Where these terms and Danish consumer law disagree, Danish consumer law wins.
9. What we are responsible for
We are responsible for supplying articles that match their description, that are of satisfactory quality, and that carry the certifications stated on their product pages. We are responsible for the accuracy of the photometric and electrical figures we publish and for stating their source.
We are not responsible for installation work carried out by anyone else, for damage caused by exceeding a stated maximum wattage, for use of an article outside the environment its IP rating covers, or for compatibility with a dimmer we have not tested. Nothing in this section limits liability for death, personal injury, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction
Talk to us first — most things are quicker to fix directly. If we cannot agree, the routes to an independent decision are set out on the complaints and disputes page, including Nævnenes Hus and the EU online dispute resolution platform.
These terms are governed by the law of Denmark. Disputes fall to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer resident in another EU or EEA country, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
11. Age
Orders may only be placed by people aged 18 or over, or by someone with the legal capacity to enter into a contract under Danish law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update this page. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it, and the date at the top of this page tells you which that is. We do not apply changes retrospectively.
